These payments may initially be taken but will at a later date be flagged as fraudulent, leaving the student\u2019s fees unpaid and their money in the hands of the scammer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Edge Hill we advise all students to make their tuition fee payments directly to Edge Hill University using our authorised payment methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have also become aware of increasing reports of criminals calling students impersonating University staff. They are instructing students to&nbsp;transfer funds from their bank accounts to keep their bank account \u201csafe\u201d. These criminals may seem to know your personal details or information about you.&nbsp;They will sound genuine and explain that your bank account is at risk, they will encourage you to transfer funds to someone you know and trust or to a suggested third-party person. Children\/step-children must have been aged under 18 on the date on which the asylum application was made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must:<br>\u2022 have been offered a place (conditional or unconditional) on an undergraduate programme at Edge Hill University <strong>before <\/strong>applying for the \u2018Sanctuary Award\u2019.
