If you\u2019ve received an offer to study with us, then you should\u2019ve received your invitation to attend one of our offer holder days<\/a>. If not, don\u2019t worry, it\u2019ll be on its way to you soon. Join us to experience a day in the life of an Edge Hill student studying your course and read on to see what other exciting things you can do on the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Imagine yourself on your course<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The most important part of your visit will be attending your subject session. It\u2019s where you\u2019ll get a real taste of what it\u2019ll be like to study your course and get a true experience of what it\u2019s like to be a university student. It\u2019s here where you\u2019ll meet the tutors who\u2019ll teach you on your course and they are holding drop-in sessions too where you can ask any questions you might have to our lecturers and current students. You can discover more about the modules you\u2019ll get to learn once you\u2019re here while immersing yourself in the facilities<\/a> that\u2019ll bring your learning to life.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

2. Making new friends<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Another important and unique part about your offer holder day is that you\u2019ll meet other applicants that have received an offer in the same subject area as you. So, you\u2019ll be sat alongside those that could be on your course when you become a student with us. It\u2019s a great opportunity to meet and make new friends before you even arrive. Ensuring your transition to university life feels easier knowing you\u2019ll see some familiar faces.<\/p>\n<\/div>

3. Explore our picturesque campus<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Familiarise yourself with your surroundings. Take a campus tour led by one of our students. They\u2019ll give you an insight into what happens in each building and you\u2019ll be able to pick out your favourite places to study and relax before you start your studies. As you\u2019re exploring campus, think about how you feel in these surroundings. Do you feel like this is the place where you\u2019ll be supported throughout your journey? And is this the space you want to be surrounded with?<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

4. Deciding where to live<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Offer Holder Days are a great opportunity to think more about whether you want to live on campus or commute. You can take a self-guided tour of our award-winning accommodation<\/a> to find the place that feels like home and explore all of our halls to choose the one that’s right for you. Imagine yourself moving in with all your favourite home comforts and picture yourself making new memories with your new flatmates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Planning to commute instead? Make sure to take a campus tour so you can see our amazing facilities for yourself and our students will share their favourite spots. Staff will be happy to chat with you about the facilities exclusively for commuting students too, and tell you about our free commuter breakfasts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wherever you decide to live, you’re fully supported – so don\u2019t forget to visit our student experience fair too where you can meet and chat with a variety of teams from across the University.<\/p>\n<\/div>

5. Meet our students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ll meet students who are already studying your course who’ll be able to give you an insight into what to expect when you start your degree programme and about anything related to student life. If you\u2019re viewing our accommodation, you\u2019ll be able to speak to students who either live, or have lived, in on-campus accommodation. So you can hear first-hand experiences from those that have recently been in your position. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don\u2019t forget, you\u2019re not alone. Our students understand just how you\u2019re feeling. If you have any worries about fitting in, making friends or getting involved with activities, our students can reassure you that you\u2019ll be joining a welcoming community. A community that you\u2019ll feel a part of from day one.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
