Consisting of one week of preparation and six weeks of full-time study, it is designed to enhance your subject knowledge, introducing you to key elements in your chosen degree subject. If you enrol and are studying on the Fastrack programme this year you may be eligible for some additional financial support. This is subject to your travel costs exceeding \u00a390 per week.&nbsp;If your travel costs from home to campus are less than \u00a390 per week and you still wish to apply to stay in halls, you may be eligible for a partial flat rate contribution of \u00a3300 towards the cost of your hall fees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fastrack Fund provides a contribution towards each of the above and may not subsidise the full costs. The funding for successful applicants will be paid in two instalments following enrolment onto the Fastrack course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A maximum overall award amount of <strong>\u00a33,000<\/strong> applies per student. You do not have to repay this funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tuition fees<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fastrack programme is<strong> free of charge<\/strong> to UK students joining the October 2025 intake.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"lazyblock-ehu-expanding-box-ZpVzxb wp-block-lazyblock-ehu-expanding-box\">            <div class=\"expander-wrap \">\n                <div class=\"expander__header\">\n                    <span class=\"expander__title\">How do I apply to the Fastrack Fund?<\/span>\n                    <button class=\"expander__btn\" aria-label=\"Toggle\"><span class=\"fa fa-chevron-down\"><\/span><\/button>\n                <\/div>\n                                <div class=\"expander__content\" style=\"display: none;\"><p><\/p>\n\n<p>Approximately two weeks before the start of the Fastrack programme, all Fastrack students will receive a personal email invite to apply for financial support from the Fastrack Fund. You will receive an email link to the application form and you will need to submit your application no later than 5pm on the first day of the Fastrack course.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n            <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n\n<div class=\"lazyblock-ehu-expanding-box-OM81i wp-block-lazyblock-ehu-expanding-box\">            <div class=\"expander-wrap \">\n                <div class=\"expander__header\">\n                    <span class=\"expander__title\">Fastrack funding eligibility criteria<\/span>\n                    <button class=\"expander__btn\" aria-label=\"Toggle\"><span class=\"fa fa-chevron-down\"><\/span><\/button>\n                <\/div>\n                                <div class=\"expander__content\" style=\"display: none;\"><p><\/p>\n\n<p>To be eligible for the Fastrack Fund, you must be in receipt of at least one of the following benefits or allowances:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:9px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Working Tax Credit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NHS Tax Credit Exemption Certificate<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Housing Benefit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maximum rate of Child Tax Credit<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Income-based or contribution-based Job Seeker&#8217;s Allowance (JSA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Income-related or contribution-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full Universal Credit (basic allowance, housing and\/or childcare costs)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are not in receipt of any of the above, you may still be eligible for support through the Fastrack Fund. This is if your gross household income does not exceed a specified threshold amount for the past twelve months. You will need to provide evidence that you are no longer in employment. You should receive 50% of your award at the end of week two and 50% at the end of week four. A registration check will be made to ensure students are in attendance prior to payments being made.
