We deliver co-produced research that has a positive impact on the health and well-being of society and we actively share our findings and knowledge to create new ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are committed to delivering research that aligns with the NHS 10-year plan:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>reduces health inequalities and promotes social inclusion;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>focuses on the needs of neighbourhoods and underserved communities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improves established health and integrated care systems and develops a sustainable workforce;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promotes health prevention and early diagnosis, especially for people at higher risk, to lessen the need for health and social care services;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>supports the health and well-being of children, young people and pregnant women;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improves outcomes for people with long-term conditions, for example, mental health and musculoskeletal problems;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We collaborate across university departments through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/research\/healthresearchinstitute\/\">Health Research Institute<\/a> to meet current and future needs, for example by analysing large-scale health data; and building sustainable communities by maximising the strengths of individuals and groups (asset-based community development).
