Your Students\u2019 Union<\/a> manage over 100 diverse societies, bringing an element of fun to student-led activities on campus. These clubs and societies aim to create a sense of community and growth, helping you to connect with like-minded peers, learn new skills or delve further into an interest you already have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Societies allow you to explore your interests and build social connections outside of your academic studies. They can help to enhance your personal and professional growth, promoting creativity, encouraging leadership and teamwork as well as engaging you in networking opportunities. They can also support your wellbeing, allowing you to build your skillset in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.

We offer a wide range of societies from academic societies, like the Criminology and Social Sciences Society, representation societies like the African and Caribbean Society, and special interest societies like the EHSU Music Society. \n Sports clubs and activities<\/span>\n

Get involved with sport and recreational clubs and activities through our Campus Sport<\/a> programme. You can get active in weekly sessions in a wide range of sports, with the option of taking part in social leagues. Participate regardless of your ability in a more social, fun and non-competitive environment.

Or, if you are interested in representing the University in competitive sport, considering joining Team Edge Hill<\/a>. Enjoy the chance to compete in British Universities and College Sport and our annual varsity with the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN).<\/p>\n <\/div>\n

Your elected student officers in the Students’ Union team are here to represent you during your time at Edge Hill. They offer advice and support as well as a place for you to share your suggestions and feedback on your university experiences.

They are also here to support with the running of our student-led clubs and societies across campus, and guiding you if you choose to set one up for yourself.
