<\/figure>We have made substantial investments in our accommodation<\/a> in the last few years, and we aren\u2019t stopping yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This means we aim to provide a room in our halls of residence<\/a> for all first-year, full-time undergraduate students from the UK and EU, who want to live on campus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n You just need to submit an application by the agreed deadline and make Edge Hill your firm choice. By accessing the self-assign portal (found on the Accommodation portal) you can guarantee yourself a room for Year 1 of your course. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Full details of any deadlines will be sent to you nearer the time.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n One look at our campus and you\u2019ll know. Look at the accommodation options, walk around the halls, and see the rooms for yourself. Find all the information you need to make a confident choice online. Make early contact with the team to start your living in halls journey as this type of accommodation is limited.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n Applying for halls is made up of the 4 easy steps below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 1<\/sup><\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/p>\n Apply and accept Edge Hill University as your firm choice of university.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n 2<\/sup><\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/p>\n Receive your invite to apply for accommodation via email. From here you can access our accommodation portal, using the self-assign process to browse available rooms and select the right one for you.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n 3<\/sup><\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/p>\n From there, to secure your chosen room you must sign your e-licence agreement and pay the Advanced Residence Fee of \u00a3150.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n 4<\/sup><\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/p>\n \nThere is nothing more to do until August when we will contact you with details about paying your hall fees. You can either pay in full or set up a Recurring Card Payment (RCP) which aligns with the three student loan instalment dates.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n Access our accommodation portal and apply to live on campus, sign your licence agreement or submit other requests, such as a request to transfer rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n If you\u2019re applying for our Fastrack: Preparation for Higher Education course<\/a> and require accommodation for the six week full-time element of the course, you\u2019ll need to make two accommodation applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Once you’ve received an offer of a place on the Fastrack course, we’ll send you all the information about applying for your accommodation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you are moving into halls, you will have three steps to complete:<\/p>\n\n\n\n You can pay your hall fees online with a debit or credit card in one of two ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pay in full.<\/strong> Pay the total upfront in one instalment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Pay in three instalments.<\/strong> You can set up a Recurring Card Payment (RCP) so that your halls fees will be taken in three equal instalments.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n Most students choose to pay their fees in three instalments as this coincides with student funding payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The three main instalment dates for the next academic year are:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If you intend to pay your accommodation fees with your student funding, please note that once you are registered onto your course, your first instalment will be received in three to five working days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Student loans are paid in three instalments at the start of each term. If you are not on the standard 40 week contract or started your contract in the middle of the academic year, please contact the Halls Fees team, for information regarding payment arrangements. The total balance due for the duration of your licence agreement (40 weeks or agreed fixed term) is divided into three equal instalments, unless you pay in full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the event that you need to make an additional payment outside of your payment plan, it can be made online.<\/a><\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n Due to Data Protection Legislation and the University Data Protection Policy we are unable to discuss or disclose any information without your prior written consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It is important to remember that even if it is not your card we hold on the payment system, it is your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you want someone to make payments on your behalf, or to discuss your hall fees account with us, you will need to provide the name and contact details of the person you want us to speak to. You can do this by following this online <\/a>by logging on with your student number and password then selecting requests and Third Party Disclosure. We cannot accept verbal or email permission. Third party consent must be completed in this way via the Accommodation Portal.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n The Hall Fees Team offer advice and guidance in relation to the payment of accommodation fees. They also manage your accommodation payments and instalment dates. Students often come to see us about concerns they may have, for example with Student Finance delays, lack of funds, changes to payment plans or getting a new bank card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you are worried or stressed about your hall fees account in any way, please contact us as soon as possible so we can help to keep you on track.
