To make the world a better place. Start in the right place. Join us at one of our open day events in Manchester to learn what it takes to study, and work, as an operating department practitioner or paramedic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A small number of our courses within the Faculty of Health, Social Care and Medicine<\/a> are offered at our St James’ Manchester<\/a> city centre location. If you’re interesting in studying the likes of operating department practice or paramedic practice, these open day events are for you.<\/p>\n\n\n

\n What to expect on the day<\/span>\n

There will be subject presentation talks for you to attend to find out more about the course you’re interested in.

Take the chance to explore the campus and facilities including a mock operating theatre, a simulated ambulance bay and clinical skills stations. Guided tours of facilities will take place after each subject presentation.

You’ll also be able to talk to academic staff who will be there to support you in your studies and, chat to current students, asking any questions that you may have.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n
