The deadline for accepting an offer is early May (for 2026 entry), which can be done on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucas.com\/undergraduate\/after-you-apply\/tracking-your-ucas-application\">UCAS Track<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The potential replies to offers your student can give are:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Firm choice<\/strong> \u2013 their first choice of course and university.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Insurance choice<\/strong> \u2013 a backup if the firm choice is a conditional offer (for example, subject to exam results). This is usually a course with lower offer conditions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Decline<\/strong> \u2013 reject the offer. If all offers are declined or no offers are received, an additional choice can be made through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/study\/apply\/ucas\/ucas-extra\/\">UCAS Extra<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"lazyblock-ehu-button-block-Z2nbHBr wp-block-lazyblock-ehu-button-block\"><a class=\"ehu-buttons wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/study\/apply\/ucas\/\">Discover our guidance on applying through UCAS<span class=\"fa fa-arrow-right\"><\/span><\/a><\/div>\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n\n<div class=\"lazyblock-ehu-tab-content-ZGtuGB wp-block-lazyblock-ehu-tab-content\">                <div class=\"tab-panel preparing\" role=\"tabpanel\" id=\"live\" data-tabgroup=\"preparing\">\n                    \n\n<p>More than 2,000 bedrooms are available in our halls of residence. We guarantee a room for firm choice, first-year undergraduate students from the UK who are undertaking a full-time course and starting in September 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your student has made us their firm choice, they will be able to apply for on-campus accommodation online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your student will be living in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/study\/accommodation\/living-off-campus\/\">private rented accommodation<\/a>, our Accommodation Team use Studentpad and will be happy to provide advice and guidance in finding somewhere to live.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"lazyblock-ehu-button-block-2d2uH8 wp-block-lazyblock-ehu-button-block\"><a class=\"ehu-buttons wp-block-button__link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.edgehill.ac.uk\/study\/accommodation\/compare-halls-of-residence\/\">Explore our on-campus accommodation<span class=\"fa fa-arrow-right\"><\/span><\/a><\/div>\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n\n<div class=\"lazyblock-ehu-tab-content-hKrXx wp-block-lazyblock-ehu-tab-content\">                <div class=\"tab-panel preparing\" role=\"tabpanel\" id=\"applicant\" data-tabgroup=\"preparing\">\n                    \n\n<p>Once your student has applied with us, they will be emailed a link to our dedicated applicant webpages. These provide key information including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>enrolment guidance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>an indicative timetable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>course preparation advice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>an induction week timetable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>packing lists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This information is sent over the summer and it is important for your student to read and make use of before starting their course with us.<\/p>\n\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n\n<div class=\"lazyblock-ehu-tab-content-1GPJR5 wp-block-lazyblock-ehu-tab-content\">                <div class=\"tab-panel preparing\" role=\"tabpanel\" id=\"results\" data-tabgroup=\"preparing\">\n                    \n\n<p>BTEC results are published in July and A Level results in August. The deadline to satisfy all offer conditions, for example GCSE results and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) is 31 August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your student misses out on the exam grades required, they may still be accepted by their firm or insurance choice universities. If neither are confirmed, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucas.com\/ucas\/undergraduate\/apply-and-track\/results\/no-offers-use-clearing\">Clearing<\/a> will enable your student to find suitable course vacancies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your student can also use Clearing if they have exceeded their own expectations or even just changed their mind on their course\/place of study.<\/p>\n\n                <\/div>\n            <\/div>\n\n<div class=\"lazyblock-ehu-tab-content-16nfSA wp-block-lazyblock-ehu-tab-content\">                <div class=\"tab-panel preparing\" role=\"tabpanel\" id=\"welcome\" data-tabgroup=\"preparing\">\n                    \n\n<p>Welcome Weekend is when new students living on campus collect their keys, move into their new home and complete the enrolment process. We&#8217;ve got a lot of experience in helping students move into their new home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Welcome Week follows this weekend and is when the student experience gets underway with lots activities and events. If your student isn\u2019t living on-campus, they will complete the enrolment process during Welcome Week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It can often take 5-10 working days following enrolment for Student Finance England (or the equivalent funding body) to process payment of funding. This will help them to learn more about our student experience, ask any questions and delve into their chosen course in more detail.
